Questionsabout product sync

How does Tally avoid duplicate products?
You choose the matching strategy: Match by Name (best for a first import), Match by ID (best for ongoing sync), or Match by Name AND ID for the strictest match. Matched products update in place; unmatched ones are created.
Can I choose exactly which Salesforce product a QuickBooks item links to?
Yes. Product Mapping shows every QuickBooks item beside its Salesforce product. Accept a suggested match, search and pick a product, create a missing one, or unlink and remap. Nothing links automatically from a suggestion, and changes are only written when you save.
Does pricing sync?
QuickBooks prices flow into your Salesforce price books when you import. Prices don't go from Salesforce to QuickBooks, because Salesforce can hold several price books per product and QuickBooks holds one price, so new products exported to QuickBooks start at $0 there.
How do I know if a product failed to sync?
Sync Health shows a count of sync errors, and a failed product carries QuickBooks' reason in plain words, such as a referenced account that was made inactive.
What happens when an item is made inactive in QuickBooks?
The matching Salesforce product is deactivated, so reps can't quote or invoice something you no longer sell.
