## What it does

- Sync classes on the Tally Hub's Sync Classes page pulls every class with its full name and parent (for example Software:Subscriptions).
- Each class is a QBO Class record in Salesforce.
- A Class column on invoice, estimate and sales receipt lines, and on purchase order category and item lines.
- A Flow can set the QBO Class field on invoice and estimate lines; the SF Invoice and SF Estimate Flow actions send each line's class.
- Classes are managed in QuickBooks; create them there.

- QuickBooks to Salesforce: classes, and classes added or changed later.
- Salesforce to QuickBooks: the class chosen on each document line.

### Does Tally support QuickBooks class tracking?

Yes. Your QuickBooks classes are synced into Salesforce, and invoices, estimates, sales receipts and purchase orders built in Salesforce carry a class on each line to QuickBooks Online.

### Where do the classes come from?

From QuickBooks. Press Sync classes on the Sync Classes page of the Tally Hub to bring them all in, with their parent classes. After that, classes added or changed in QuickBooks reach Salesforce on their own.

### Can I create a class in Salesforce?

Classes are managed in QuickBooks, which stays the source of truth. Create the class in QuickBooks and it appears in Salesforce, ready to pick.

### Is the class per transaction or per line?

Per line. Every line on an invoice, estimate or sales receipt, and every category and item line on a purchase order, has its own Class, so one document can split across classes.

### Can class tracking be automated?

Yes. Invoice and estimate lines in Salesforce have a QBO Class field, so a Flow can set it, for example from the product or the opportunity's region. The Create Invoice on QBO using SF Invoice record and Create Estimate on QBO using SF Estimate record actions send each line's class to QuickBooks.

### Which plan includes class tracking?

QuickBooks class tracking is part of Tally Growth and Tally Scale. On plans without it, the Class column doesn't appear.
